Public Sector
St. James - Mental Health Facility: Entrance
The block paved path leading between formal hedges and trees creates a symmetrical design up to the hospital entrance, with pedestrian priority.
St. James - Metal Health Facility: Courtyard
Colour and texture give the planting a domestic feel, with timber pergolas and raised beds for horticultural therapy.
Seacroft - Metal Health Facility
Deep planting beds give privacy to bedroom windows and allow designated seating areas within the courtyard.
Woodhouse Hall - Child & Adolescent Unit
The colourful wet-pour design and play equipment give this space a sense of fun. Bespoke seats and planting also promote relaxation.
NE Cue - Elderly Unit
The textures, colours and forms of the planting and multi-stemmed birch create a homely courtyard to stimulate the senses.
Parkside Lodge - Community Home for the Elderly
The informal path meanders out to the grassland meadow, affording views back to the home, with seats provided for relaxation.
